A Special Family Moment at Port Royal Golf Course

This week at Port Royal Golf Course, the Bryan brothers, Wesley and George, will share a rare experience as they play together in the first two rounds of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Known for their popular YouTube channel “Bryan Bros Golf”, the brothers have competed in the same PGA TOUR event twice before, but this will be their first time paired together on the course. Joining them in their group is Camiko Smith, a Bermuda native and longtime friend, with their tee time set for 10:47 a.m. ET on Thursday.

For Wesley Bryan, the opportunity to play alongside his brother in a PGA TOUR event is a dream come true. Reflecting on this milestone, he shared, “It was pretty special just to be able to tee it up on the PGA TOUR with him. That was kind of our dream… So to be able to say that we did that together is pretty dadgum special.” The Butterfield Bermuda Championship marks another chapter in their shared golfing journey, as they compete on one of the sport’s biggest stages.

Wesley Bryan’s Fall Goals

Wesley Bryan, currently ranked 128th in the FedExCup Fall standings, is working toward a top 125 finish to secure full PGA TOUR status for the 2025 season. After a successful T6 finish at the World Wide Technology Championship, Bryan has made four consecutive cuts, and his rise up the standings keeps his PGA TOUR dream alive. Wesley, a one-time TOUR winner, is striving to secure fully exempt status, which has eluded him since 2022.

George Bryan IV’s Pursuit of His PGA TOUR Card

Meanwhile, George Bryan IV, who has been a professional golfer since 2010, is focused on earning his PGA TOUR card for the first time. After advancing through the First Stage of Q-School presented by Korn Ferry, he is preparing for the Second Stage of Q-School in December. With his PGA TOUR debut at last year’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship, George is closer than ever to realizing his goal.

Alongside the Bryans will be Camiko Smith, who has previously caddied for both Wesley and George at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. The 39-year-old Smith has also made two PGA TOUR starts, both at the Bermuda event, adding a familiar face to the group and creating a comfortable environment for the brothers during this exciting week.

Looking Ahead

As the Bryan brothers tee off together at Port Royal, their family bond and dedication to the game will be on full display. Whether it’s Wesley’s push for FedExCup points or George’s pursuit of his PGA TOUR card, both brothers are poised for a memorable week on the PGA TOUR in Bermuda. With the support of their close friend Camiko Smith, this year’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship is sure to be a special chapter in their golf journe.
